Galatians 5:1 Christ having made us gloriously free—stand fast and do not again be hampered with the yoke of slavery.

They had two swords. They were ready for the battles yet to come to establish their political kingdom.

They probably remembered how Sampson killed 1000 enemy soldiers with the jawbone of a donkey. Imagine what could be done with two swords.
