Good News: Jesus is the Messiah Part 1

Here is what the Jews looked forward to.

The Messiah would come to redeem Israel from corrupt Roman and Greek culture.

The Messiah would free Israel from the oppressive bondage to Roman rule.

The Messiah would set up a political kingdom that would rule the world, with the people of Israel as the ruling elite. This kingdom would last until the end of time when God would judge the world.
