Freedom in Christ frees us from religious practices unrelated to salvation

Galatians 5:1 Christ having made us gloriously free—stand fast and do not again be hampered with the yoke of slavery.

A religious clergy often seeks to perform ceremonies that appear to lead to God. But, adding ceremony to ceremony, ritual to ritual, and commandment to commandment does not lead to God, but enslavement.
