They were essentially restatements of three of the Noachian Laws that pertain to Gentiles. The Apostle’s commands to the Gentiles were basically: 1) Not to worship idols
These commands were frequently violated in the Roman Empire. Note that the commands that were in common every use in the Roman Empire were not mentioned: 2) Not to blaspheme the name of God – remember Paul was accused of blaspheming Dianna
