There arose a controversy about the Old Covenant law and the Gentiles. Some legalistic Jews went to Antioch to spy out the liberty of the Gentiles. They wanted the Gentiles to be circumcised as a way of coming to Christ. Paul disagreed and they took their dispute to the chief Apostles in Jerusalem. The result was the the Apostles wrote three “necessary things” that the Gentiles should obey. Now, at first these commands might seem unusual. They were not from the 10 commandments. What were they?
